Elisa Pappoto
I am experienced in providing effective treatment for a range of mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, low self-esteem and relationship difficulties. I strongly believe in a person-centred and evidence based approach. I am particularly interested and experienced in working with younger adults.
I have worked in private practice and education settings providing clinical assessments and therapy for a range of presentations including anxiety disorders, eating disorders, trauma, family and relationship issues, and grief.
My passion for psychology is born out of a deep respect and empathy for the human condition. I’m fascinated by the potential for psychotherapy to empower greater awareness of the connection between mind and body through evidence-based intervention. You will find me to be warm, engaging and not opposed to using light humour to help release tension, strengthen connections and inject humanity into the journey. I offer a supportive therapeutic framework to help foster insight, meaningful change, and personal growth for individuals across the lifespan.

Registered Psychologist (MAPS)
I have compassion for people’s experiences, an openness to diversity, and a fundamental respect for human beings and their potential to thrive. I understand that therapy can often be challenging, and that feeling safe and supported in the therapeutic relationship is important. My approach is to work alongside you, at your pace, to help you make contact with your own sense of wisdom and internal guiding compass, uncover new insights, learn new skills and better access existing strengths.
